Invitation
The 21st International Youth Forum 2010
The Role of Youth for Achieving the Cairo Agenda
August 18-25, 2010, Seoul, Republic of Korea
The National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea (NCYOK) is the coordinating body for youth organizations in Korea under the auspices of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Korea (MOGEF). We have been in the forefront of many major youth movements within Korea, having implemented various activities such as youth leadership training programs, annual international youth exchange programs and other youth related activities.
Recognizing the need for a place where young people from all over the world can get together and share opinions on global issues, NCYOK has especially provided youths in the world with the International Youth Forum since 1990. The International Youth Forum has allowed many experts to present their views to youths and youths from various cultures, setting aside their preconceptions, to discuss the issues at hand.
This year, NCYOK is organizing the 21st International Youth Forum, focusing on the Cairo Agenda that are mostly concerned about protection of family dignity, world population for sustainable development, and public health that are considered to be pursued by all humans. During the Forum youths will be able to build the consensus that they have to proactively deal with the protection of family and find solutions to sustainable development of world population. The Forum is going to be held from August 18th through 25th in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, organized by the National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea (NCYOK) and hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Republic of Korea. We look forward to receiving 150 young people to participate in the Forum.
The details of the program, the application form and qualification criteria for participants are attached to this letter.
Sincerely Yours,
Kwang- Sun Cha, Ph.D
